Plastic Patio Furniture - Easy to Maintain

Don’t turn you nose up when it comes to plastic patio furniture. Furniture made from plastic or PVC is a great option for low maintenance, great looking, and affordable furniture. Well made pieces are built to be left out all year and remain maintenance free.

Some pieces of furniture are made from recycled containers such as plastic milk jugs. These pieces will not rot, crack, splinter or absorb moisture. They will not need painting and they are strong enough to hold a well built adult and stay in place during heavy winds.

Your white plastic furniture for the patio can be cleaned with a solution of 1 American gallon of warm water, and 3 teaspoons of automatic dishwasher detergent. Wipe down your white furniture with this solution and allow it to sit for about 15 minutes. This allows the bleaching agent in the detergent to work. You can use a sponge with a plastic scrubbing back to get at the tough spots. Now simply rinse and allow the pieces to dry. Do not use the detergent on colored plastics. Try an all purpose cleaner instead.

When shopping for patio furniture made from plastic you’ll be happy to note you can purchase your favorite styles. Adirondack chairs are available in plastic with all the style and none of the maintenance that is required when you purchase wood products.

Plastic furniture for kids is a great option. They play hard and are rough on their furniture. By purchasing plastic you will give them sturdy items that won’t give them slivers, that stays cool in the sun, and you can choose rounded edges to protect them from bumps and bruises.

You will also find loungers, dining sets, chairs, chaise lounges, occasional tables, rockers, gliders, swings and children’s furniture. Make sure you choose 100% high-density polyethylene with stainless steel hardware for durability.
