Are you planning your home’s decks and patios? First you need to understand what the differences are. A deck is generally a roofless, floored structure that is attached to a house and usually has a railing. In fact most cities have bylaws that will require you to have a railing. Best of all they often have online experts to help you sort out any questions or concerns.

Not everyone is a handyman. Not a problem. You can still browse to your hearts content until you find a design that turns your crank. Find a contactor and away you go. You will find plenty of variety in decks and patios made from many types of materials made specifically for all corners of the country and their inherent climate challenges.
